SHINE Support for Children app for iPhone and iPad

Support and information for children affected by mental health issues.

As many as one in seven children will be affected by mental illness. Thats why weve created Family Lifes SHINE app. Rather than speaking to the "grown ups", this app is designed to be used by children and teenagers.

Through bright illustrations and child-friendly language, each page will capture and hold the attention of at-risk kids. Pages for sadness, anxiety, stress, anger and happiness will expand their vocabulary, provide them with useful information, allow them to download fact sheets and give them a variety of ways in which to contact SHINE and other mental health services.

Mental illness can lurk unnoticed. SHINE hopes to provide a comprehensive support service to children with all kinds of mental health needs.
